2 ply = laceweight = 18+wpi
4ply = fingering weight = 16wpi
5ply = sport weight = 14wpi
8ply = worsted weight = 12wpi
10ply = bulky = 10wpi
14ply+ = very bulky = 8 or lesswpi
4ply = fingering weight = 16wpi
5ply = sport weight = 14wpi
8ply = worsted weight = 12wpi
10ply = bulky = 10wpi

I'm in Sydney today and freezing! Not even my shrug is helping. Well, it wouldn't when all I've got for the lower half is shorts and sandles! So far it's been about a 14C drop in temp. Brrrrr
