Here is the result of a few hours here and there the other day. A knitted belt for Miss A.

I also tried some dying the other day (food dyes) and used the instructions from Issue One as a guide.

And a tip for next time - when the instructions say 'wear gloves' it might be an idea to actually put them on and not leave them on the bench...

The rainbow belt is so cute. I wonder if my dog would wear a rainbow collar?
Glad to hear you didn't have to live with coloured hands for days ... or weeks.
The belt looks great - your hands look like they belong in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory - who was that kid that turned purple? The results in the yarn were worth it though. :)
How on earth did you get the dye off? I didn't see any vestiges of it the other day. Noice belt, too. At least Amelia doesn't have snake hips so she can use the belt. One of my nieces is a long glass of water - she has to use suspenders to keep jeans on!
ahh - they were green for a few days Kate - have everyone thinking I had made playdough at storytime!
I think that belt is sweet too. Wish I could say the same for the green fingers! : )
Oh I love your hand dyed wool: so beautiful and green!!!
